Quick Tip: Using the dock in fullscreen apps

One of the great new features in Lion is the ability to use many of your apps in a new fullscreen mode.  This mode makes your Mac apps much like those on iPad or iPhone.  You can’t see the menu bar or dock.  The app fills the screen, edge to edge.  If you need access to the menu bar, just move you mouse to the top of the screen and it slides back into place.  If you need to use the dock, just move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and then move it down again.  The dock comes right up.

The Hard Drive Simulator

You things you store on your computer are possibly the valuable part of the system.  Your hard drive is given the task of hanging on to all of that, but—for many different reasons—your hard drive can fail and your data could be lost.  That’s why backup is so important.  Even still, sometimes backup isn’t enough, or you haven’t backed up your hard drive.  That’s when data recovery comes into play.

We have included DriveSavers Hard Drive Simulator to help you learn more about this important part of your computer.
